I’m Jennifer. A wife, mother of 3 amazing boys, and a Christ-follower. I’ve been a Nurse Practitioner for almost a decade, and I have seen many patients who were searching for answers but got prescriptions instead. It hurt my heart to see women who wanted answers and solutions, to only be given prescriptions and vague directions in the form of “eat better and exercise.” They needed to get out of the traditional healthcare box, and I wanted to help. So I started doing some digging on my own and learned how to better help women like me that wanted more than platitudes and a prescription. Food is Medicine!
Just like pharmaceutical drugs can cause advers reactions...so can some foods. Common foods that you take in daily can be causing some of your most common symptoms like brain fog, bloating, skin rashes, and even mental health problems such as anxiety and depression.
Fun Fact: Did you know 70% of your immune system is in your gut!? Crazy isn’t it!?
Have you ever tried to completely eliminate processed foods from you house? If you’re a mama, aunt, grandma, or just a caregiver to growing toddlers to teens…you’ve probably found that this is SUPER hard!!!
